The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star was recently released from prison after serving five years behind bars. According to E! NewsPhaedra Park‘s ex-husband “has been moved to a Philadelphia halfway house,” where he is expected to stay until the middle of October.

Shortly after news of his release, Apollo and his fiancee, Sherian Almfti, were spotted in Philly near the halfway house Apollo will be calling home for the next few months.

In 2014, Apollo pled guilty to bank fraud and identity theft. He was sentenced to eight years behind bars. “This defendant participated in a sweeping fraud scheme that exploited many segments of the financial system, including phony claims submitted to federal and state agencies, loans secured by vehicles and even basic identity theft associated with stolen checks,” United States Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said in a statement at the time.

In March 2019, however, E! News reported that Apollo’s sentence was reduced to 84 months (seven years) “with credit to be given by the Bureau of Prisons for all time served.” He was then scheduled to be released in August 2020 and supposed to be put on probation for several years thereafter, according to The Blast.
