KELLY ISN’T THE ONLY ONE GETTING A LIFETIME DOCUMENTARY (CLICK HERE)
Talk show host Wendy Williams is gearing up for a new project. Lifetime announced it is developing a biopic based on the talk-show host, which will reveal the “highs and lows she has experienced throughout her show.” Williams, 55, has signed on to executive produce the biopic, which will go into production this fall. Nicknamed the “Queen of Gossip,” she’s built a career out of digging into other people’s business, but this time, she’s turning things around on herself with a Lifetime movie.
“The authorized project provides a revealing look at Wendy’s journey, from her scrappy upstart days in urban radio to the success of her own syndicated talk show,” according to a press release.
The biopic will also come with a documentary based on Williams’ life, produced by Entertainment One (eOne) and Creature Films. The films are set to debut in 2020.
