RUMORED SHOOTER….MORE DETAILS
A crowd stampede injured several people attending a New Orleans festival organized by rapper Lil Wayne, this past Saturday, September 7th. An audience estimated to include 15,000 people stampeded twice Saturday night, causing injuries following Meek Mill’s performance at the Lil WeezyAna Fest. New Orleans police aren’t sure what caused the disturbance but speculated that false rumors of gunfire or a fight could have prompted panic. Despite the commotion, in show business, the show must go on. Following Meek Mill’s 30-minute set, rapper Travis Scott performed. Details are still being released and police are still investigating; however, it was confirmed that there was no shooter or shots fired.
