As previously reported, Akon has been chipping away at building up his own city in Senegal. He began the development stage back in March 2019. “We began development in March, and stage two will be 2025. It’s in Senegal, West Africa,” he disclosed to Nick Cannon, before affirming the economy would be situated in Akoin. While the entire thing feels strange, have confidence that Akon City is going on. Truth be told, Akon as of late took to Instagram to praise the most recent significant improvement.
“Just finalized the agreement for AKON CITY in Senegal,” he composes, sharing a picture from the meeting. “Looking forward to hosting you there in the future.” While it’s indistinct with respect to when the notorious entryways will open, we anticipate following the rise of Akon City, something that still feels strange to compose.
