Wendy Williams is confronting reaction in the wake of advising gay men to “quit wearing our skirts and our heels” on her syndicated program Thursday, including that they will never “be the ladies that we are.”
On Thursday on her Hot Topics appear, Williams was discussing Galentine’s Day, an occasion made well known by the TV show “Park and Recreation,” in which the women of the show went to informal breakfast together on Valentine’s Day to commend different ladies in their lives.
“I couldn’t care less in case you’re gay,” she included. “You don’t get a [menstruation] like clockwork. You can do a ton that we do, however, I get insulted by the possibility that we experience something you will never experience. What’s more, quit wearing our skirts and our heels. Simply saying, young ladies, what do we have for ourselves?”
Ultimately, she stated, “Looky here now, gay men, you’ll never be the ladies that we are,” Williams said. “Regardless of how gay, sir.”
While her studio crowd was giggling along, individuals rushed to denounce Williams via web-based networking media.
“Extremely?” one pundit inquired. “What kind of obliviousness is leaving your mouth with respect to gay men needing to be ladies!! Truly Wendy?
