Vanessa Bryant, is now a stakeholder for the sports drink, BodyArmor.
Kobe Bryant first invested in BodyArmor in March 2013 for $5 million and gained a 10 percent stake in the company. The Los Angeles Lakers icon also became a brand ambassador for the company, which is set to break through the $1 billion mark this year for the first time since its inception. Kobe served on the board of directors and supervised the advertising campaigns. He was the fourth-largest shareholder at the time of his untimely passing.
The CocaCola company bought a minority stake in BodyArmor, bringing the value of the company to $2 billion, and making Kobe Bryant’s share worth at least $200 million.
Vanessa Bryant has now inherited his stake and assumed his seat on the board of directors.
