LOOKS LIKE YO GOTTI GOT HIMSELF A CHECK TO WRITE!

On Tuesday, a North Caroline judge slammed Yo Gotti with a $2.2M verdict in the case filed against him by Winston-Salem, management for Young Fletcher. The verdict ultimately increased to $6.6M after the judge ruled that Gotti was using, “unfair and deceptive trade practices.”

In 2016, Winston-Salem artist Young Fletcher collaborated with Yo Gotti on a track that lawyers say, Gotti pocketed $20,000 cash to sing on but never released. The lawsuit also stated that Yo Gotti came out with a similar song and then tried to offer Fletcher a back-door deal behind his managers back.

“Yo Gotti didn’t realize who he was dealing with,” said Michael Terry, the talent manager and promoter of Winston-Salem who manages Young Fletcher and put up the $20,000 for the Yo Gotti vocals. “Yo Gotti probably thought ‘oh, these small town North Carolina dudes can’t do nothing to me,” said Terry, “but he was sorely mistaken…He [Yo Gotti] might want to pick up the phone now, because I’m coming after the cars and the Bel Air mansion.”
