Actress and comedian Regina Hall, best known for her leading role in “Girls Trip” and the upcoming movie “Shaft” will have the pleasure of hosting the 2019 BET Awards. Regina Hall will host the show as other greats such as Mo’Nique, Jamie Foxx and more have done. This year “celebrates 19 years of creating unforgettable moments, showcasing the present and the future of black entertainment while honoring the unsung heroes and icons of the past.” Not only will she be hosting but she has also been nominated for this year’s “Best Actress” award along with Issa Rae, Regina King, Taraji P. Henson, Tiffany Haddish, and Viola Davis. The show will take place in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater on June 23, 2019.
