THE QUEEN OF HIP HOP SOUL WILL RECEIVE A BET AWARD … WHICH ONE??
BET has announced that the Hip Hop Queen of Soul will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 BET Awards. Blige has had a lifetime of accomplishments including receiving two Golden Globe nominations, the SAG award, nine Grammy awards, and becoming the first double nominee at the 2018 Oscars for her acting and vocal work. After receiving this award she will sit high on the ranks with many other great artists such as Diana Ross, Anita Baker, Whitney Houston, Prince, and James Brown. The awards will air June 21, 2019, at the Microsoft Theather in LA at 8 pm.
