Many are wondering why ASAP Rocky is being detained for so long, even more so now after finding out that rapper, G-Eazy was recently going through a similar situation in Sweden. G-Eazy was arrested for assault after punching a security guard in a club and also charged with possession of drugs and use of narcotics for being seen sniffing cocaine with a $100 bill. There was no video of G-Eazy’s attack, yet prosecutors allowed him to negotiate his plea within two days. He pled guilty to violent resistance and his sentence — a $10k fine and probation. He was also ordered to pay the security guard $900. G-Eazy was allowed to leave the country within 48 hours.
Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky is sitting in jail over an incident that has two videos showing the alleged victim assaulting him first. Jada Pinkett Smith’s weighed in on the situation after learning about G-Eazy’s experience in Sweden compared to Rocky’s saying, “We got the message loud and clear Sweden. Trust me … we got it.”
