Angela Simmons Shares Her Thoughts on Oprah’s New Documentary Targeting Uncle Russell Simmons!

Oprah keeps getting thrown to the wolves.
Since the announcement of Oprah Winfrey becoming the executive producer for a new documentary targeting philanthropist Russell Simmons, many celebrities have shared their thoughts.
Rapper 50 Cent was one of the first stars to go to social media to express his dislike towards Oprah. He shared that he felt as if Oprah was only targeting black men who have been accused of sexual assault charges.
Recently, niece Angela Simmons went to Bossip to share her comments on the media mogul addressing her uncle’s allegations.
“I’m not ever gonna get in between what’s going on with people,” “I’m going to stand by my family. I’m not going to get in between all of that; it’s not my place. No one wants to see their family getting hurt. He has daughters.” She added: “My uncle knows what he’s done…but I don’t necessarily want to shine a light on that.”
Like others, Russell has also gone to social media and wrote to Oprah, “Shocking how many people have misused this important, powerful revolution for relevance and money,” he wrote on Instagram. “Maybe you should name your documentary ‘FLAVOR OF LOVE’!? In closing, I am guilty of exploiting, supporting, and making the soundtrack for a grossly unequal society, but I have never been violent or forced myself on anyone.”
