Just when we thought power was ending, more surprises! More details inside…
The narrative of 50 Cent’s Power isn’t finishing with its arrangement finale on Sunday (February 9). Starz has greenlit three extra side projects of the hit show, growing the establishment to a sum of five arrangements.
Force’s first branch, Power Book II: Ghost, was reported a year ago. The up and coming show will presently be joined by Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Influence and Power Book V: Force.
“In television history, only a select few shows have inspired four consecutive series extensions, launched into active production and development at the same time,” Starz’s president CEO Jeffrey Hirsch said, according to The Hollywood reporter. “These new and exciting chapters will continue the journey of some of Power’s most controversial characters while featuring a growing ensemble of complex, distinct characters along with the high-octane drama that set Power in a class of its own.”
50 and Power maker Courtney A. Kemp will officially produce the entirety of the side projects. Mary J. Blige and Method Man have been thrown in Power Book II: Ghost, which 50 says could make a big appearance as ahead of schedule as of June 2020.
No official debut dates for any of the side projects have been declared. The first Power’s last scene is as of now accessible to watch on-request yet will communicate on Starz at 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday night.
