About the 7 Cities Showcase:
Welcome to the 7 cities showcase brought to you by Streetz 87.7 102.1 and Ultra lounge. We
know there are a lot of talented artists here in the Hampton Roads Area and for this reason we
have created a platform for you to put your talents out there.
This showcase gives the independent artists in the 757 and surrounding areas the opportunity
to compete for cash and prizes valued at $2,000.00. Competing artists are encouraged to bring
your followers, friends and family because, just like at the Apollo, the audience will select the
winner.
(Must be 21 and up with valid ID).
Seven Cities Showcase Contest Location and time:
The Ultra Lounge

Fridays 9pm to 11pm
The first act starts at 9:30pm
All artists must sign in and be ready to perform by 9pm or subject, to be disqualified for the
night. However, the artist will have the opportunity to compete the following week.
How it works:
Every Friday 8 artists will compete to win cash and prizes valued at $2,000
Each artist will perform a one to 4-minute song (8 artist per week)
Groups and are welcome but no more than 4 to a group.
Event organizers will select slots or performance times for each artist.
(Artists will not know performance time order until they arrive)
After the 8 artists/groups perform the audience will select the top two. The top two
performers are determined by the audience via applause which is measured and
determined by show host and event organizers. (Bring followers & support)
The top two will perform for grand prize. The top performer is determined by the
audience via applause which is measured and determined by show host and event
organizers.
One artist crowned (7 cities showcase artist of the week)
The winner receives prizes valued at $2,000 which includes: $1,500 worth of
promotional advertising on Streetz 87.7 and 102.1 for 7 days, $400 cash, $100 E Palmer
Supermarket Gift Card
1st and 2 nd place artist have the option to compete in the following weeks, but no more
than 4 consecutive weeks should they have the desire to.
Event organizers will use sports wrestling/track format to manage contestant’s stage
appearance. (Artist 1 up, Artist 2 on deck and Artist 3 in the whole)
Artists are expected to be in place when called on.
At any time during the event The Ultra Lounge and event organizers have the authority
to disqualify artists for misbehavior or bad conduct.

Artist to submit one song for screening and two for contest via MP3 (can be same song)
You can register as a solo artist or group (No more than 4 to a group)
Event organizer and Streetz programming team will select 8 artists per week.
Once selected artist is to sell 20 admission tickets at $10 each. (Tickets can be picked up at Streetz 87.7 and 102.1 business office at 1403 Greenbrier Parkway Chesapeake, Ste 285 Va 23320)
Registration includes:
1-(20) Admission tickets
2- A table for 4
3- One hookah
Artist to receive one booth section as opposed to a table if a bottle is purchased at $225.
Must be 21 and up to enter and perform
