Mary J. Blige and P Diddy have teamed up to produce a documentary on Blidge that will be aired on Amazon. The film promises to show Blige reflecting on “a personal and never before seen look into the emotional journey of [her] past struggles with poverty, abuse, addiction, and heartbreak,” a press release reveals. In 2018 and 2019 Blige revisited her seminal 1994 Diddy-produced album My Life, taking it on tour to celebrate its 25th anniversary. This documentary will feature footage of these shows. There is no word on who is directing the film, and no release date has been set.
