YouTube Premium and Peacock Team Up for New Streaming Bundle Coming in 2027

YouTube and NBCUniversal are joining forces on a major new streaming partnership that will bring Peacock Premium to YouTube Premium subscribers in the United States beginning in early 2027.

Under the multi-year agreement, Peacock Premium will be included in a bundle with YouTube Premium, giving millions of subscribers access to Peacock’s lineup of movies, television shows, original programming and live sports. The companies have not yet announced the bundle’s pricing or an exact launch date.

The partnership goes beyond Peacock. NBCUniversal and YouTube are also extending their existing distribution agreement for YouTube TV, keeping NBCUniversal’s portfolio of entertainment, sports and news channels available through the live-TV streaming service.

Internationally, the agreement will expand access to NBCUniversal streaming brands Universal+ and Hayu through YouTube Premium in select markets. The companies also plan to work more closely on advertising technology and sports, with NBC Sports becoming a production partner for select major live sporting events on YouTube.

The deal represents Peacock’s largest wholesale distribution partnership to date and gives both companies an opportunity to reach more viewers as competition across the streaming industry continues to grow.

More details, including pricing and the official 2027 launch date, are expected closer to the rollout.
