Usher Selected For Super Bowl Halftime Show

Usher says that it’s the “honor of a lifetime” to be able to perform at the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show. The NFL announced him as the headliner for the event on Sunday afternoon. The game is set to kick off on February 11, 2024, at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. Usher still has a residency at Park MGM in the city. “It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” he said in a statement. “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.” In addition to headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show, Usher also plans to release a new album titled Coming Home on the same day.
