Lil Baby is ready to make waves this Friday, September 5, with the release of his long-awaited album The Leaks. Originally slated for mid-August, the 17-track project is packed with some of the industry’s biggest names.
The feature list is stacked: Playboi Carti, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, G Herbo, LUCKI, Veeze, Rylo Rodriguez, Skooly, and Bino all appear on the album. On the production side, Lil Baby tapped heavyweights like Wheezy, Murda Beatz, TM88, and BabyWave to deliver the sound fans have been anticipating.
Much of the excitement stems from Lil Baby officially releasing tracks that have circulated online as leaks for years. Fans on Reddit are calling the move a win, with one writing, “Very happy an artist is doing this—can’t make money off songs you don’t release. I’ve been waiting for these official drops forever.”
Tracks like “Get Along,” which pairs Lil Yachty with LUCKI and Veeze, are already generating buzz as standout moments. But The Leaks is also stirring controversy. On the rumored diss track “Otha Boy,” Lil Baby allegedly throws shots at Gunna and Offset with lyrics referencing Gunna’s fitness journey.
And the momentum isn’t stopping here—Lil Baby revealed in a livestream with PlaqueBoyMax that he’s planning to release another project just a month after The Leaks. “I’m actually dropping two albums. I wasn’t even planning on dropping this one,” he admitted.
For fans, that means back-to-back Lil Baby seasons are officially locked in.
