More than seven years after the passing of Nipsey Hussle, his estate has reportedly completed the distribution of assets to his two children, bringing a years-long legal process to a close. According to reports, daughter Emani and son Krosshave each received their share of the late rapper’s estate, which is valued at approximately $11 million and includes cash, business interests, and other assets.

Court documents reportedly show that Nipsey’s children are the sole beneficiaries of his estate, with each receiving 50% of the assets. While the exact dollar amount awarded to each child remains under seal, the inheritance includes ownership interests in several of Nipsey’s business ventures, including The Marathon Clothing brand, as well as other investments and personal property. The estate has been managed by Nipsey’s brother, Blacc Sam, following the rapper’s death in 2019.

The distribution follows years of legal proceedings involving custody and estate matters concerning Nipsey’s daughter, Emani. With the inheritance now finalized, the settlement marks another step in preserving the late artist’s legacy and ensuring his children benefit from the businesses and wealth he built during his career. Meanwhile, fans can also look forward to new posthumous music, as collaborator Bino Rideaux is preparing to release the joint project “Prolific,”featuring previously recorded material from Nipsey Hussle.

Justice After 30 Years: Keffe D Sentenced to 40 Years to Life for Tupac Shakur’s Murder

Nearly three decades after the death of legendary rapper Tupac Shakur, one of hip-hop’s most widely discussed murder cases has reached a historic sentencing decision. Duane “Keffe D” Davis, 63, was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison on October 13, 2026, for his involvement in the 1996 shooting that claimed Shakur’s life. Davis was convicted of first-degree murder in August after prosecutors presented evidence connecting him to the deadly drive-by shooting near the Las Vegas Strip. Although Davis was not identified as the gunman, prosecutors argued that he helped organize the attack and supplied the weapon used in the killing. Shakur was shot on September 7, 1996, while riding in a vehicle with Death Row Records executive Marion “Suge” Knight. The rapper died six days later at just 25 years old. For decades, the investigation remained unresolved despite widespread speculation, interviews, and documentaries examining the circumstances surrounding his death. The case gained renewed momentum after Davis publicly discussed his involvement in the shooting through interviews and a memoir published in 2019. Those statements became an important part of the prosecution’s case. During the sentencing hearing, members of Shakur’s family spoke about the emotional impact of losing the influential artist. His sister, Sekyiwa Shakur, described the lasting pain the family has experienced since his death. Davis received consecutive sentences totaling 40 years to life. His defense has indicated plans to appeal the conviction. Tupac remains one of the most influential figures in hip-hop history, remembered for songs including “California Love,” “Changes,” and “Dear Mama.” His music continues to inspire generations of artists and fans around the world. The sentencing represents a major legal milestone in a case that has remained part of hip-hop culture for 30 years.  (Photo by JOHN LOCHER/POOL/AFP via Getty Images)
