THE NBA CHAMPIONS PARADE SHOOTING LEAVES FOUR WOUNDED
Four people were injured after a shooting at the city’s “We the North” NBA championship celebration for the Toronto Raptors. Officers arrested three people and seized two firearms. The victims suffered non-life threatening injuries. The violence started that day when national pride barged in Toronto. The motivation behind the shooting was not revealed.
It was the team’s first NBA championship and the first to win by an NBA team outside the United States.
