Starbucks is giving back to those in the community who are giving comfort during the coronavirus pandemic. The company is offering a free tall brewed coffee to front-line workers during the month of December. The deal is at participating stores in the U.S. only.

Starbucks said the free coffee is intended “to show appreciation for those keeping our communities safe during COVID-19.”

How will the program work?

Starbucks said that any customer who is a front-line responder to the COVID-19 outbreak will get a free drink.

The company said the careers eligible for the deal include doctors, nurses, public health workers, pharmacists, dispatchers, firefighters, paramedics, police officers, dentists, dental hygienists, mental health workers, hospital staff and active-duty military members.

The offer can only be redeemed at company-operated locations and some licensed stores across the U.S. until Dec. 31.
