In a groundbreaking move to bring workforce training directly into the community, Tidewater Community College (TCC) and the City of Norfolk have unveiled a brand-new “Mobile Healthcare Lab” designed to eliminate barriers for students and meet the rising demand for skilled healthcare professionals.
The initiative, launched through TCC’s Workforce Solutions and the city’s career-and-economic team, features a fully fitted mobile unit capable of simulating a clinical setting—complete with an exam room for phlebotomy and patient care training.
